The minimum that you need:

More space than you think.
Once you start creating content, doorway pages, different affiliation promotion pages....it soon mounts up.
The average page could be anything up to 40/80kb depending on the amount of graphics you are using.

Autoresponders

Be able to instantly reply to your prospects with a thank you/whatever message.
Better are autoresponders which can send out a series of messages over a period of time (sequential autoresponders). And even better is not to have anyone else's advert on your message (which you get with many of the free services...)

Statistics

Discover which sections of your site are the most popular. Discover which keyword rich doorway pages are more popular. Stats are definitely not boring but essential if you are going to discover where to put most of your marketing effort.
If you have access to stats now, do you visit them regularly?

Email addresses

A way of filtering your mail, and of checking response rates to adverts etc. More the merrier.
