Copy | Content
The best product/service in the world won't sell if your copy can't convince your prospect that it's worth buying.
People buy what they 'want', not what they 'need' (or we think that they need).
People don't buy 'features' they buy benefits.(Your book has 18 chapters is a feature - your book covers the 18 most important answers to profitability are the benefits)
And...K.I.S.S !
You should also consider using discussion groups, as a source of information as well as promotion.

Content is King.
Original content (of value) is priceless.
Don't 'just' try to sell.
Give your prospects something free - give them more than they expect, for free and with their order (an extra free gift that they did not know about).
Links to free article suppliers here...
You can use them in your free ezine, or create a 'Library' of free information on your site not forgetting to sponsor each article with a suitable link to one of your affiliations.
Do Not remove the signature files of the original writers though...not nice and not professional.
What about creating your own writings...
1. Get some free reports here... (this is exe file download of free reports)
2. Get three which cover the same subject.
3. Print them out.
4. Cut up into paragraphs.
5. Throw on the floor.
6. Put back together again in an order.
7. Rewrite in your own style.
8. There. An original piece of content. Repeat weekly.
You could also use these in the 'Library', making use of keywords in the html and page headings...(food for thought)
