Profitable Websites

How to sell on your web site -

Accept credit cards and checks on your website and use affiliate programs to increase your earnings

With Instabill leaving the merchants account business, and then Verza being dropped by H4P, there are fewer companies offering us 'smaller' players online merchant status - essential if we are to do any online selling and look credible.

So if you're looking to sell on your site what's left?

I've turned to my long time auction selling site ebay for support, 'Paypal'.
It's free to join, free to sign up to for clients, and simple to work with with.
You can set up direct sales links, invoices and more - for free:
http://www.paypal.com (also accepts UK Sterling and Euros)

If you are based in Great Britain, you can use NoChex.
Whether for your website or for your UK auction listings, NoChex again is very simple to join and use - for free.

For a small fee ($49.95) there is always one of the most established and recognized players, ClickBank. It's also one of the first stops when you are looking for affiliations to 'tie-in' to your existing website.

Continuing with the subject of affiliations...

We definitely don't want to distract our prospects from what we are offering on our sites ... but ... there sometimes is room and reason to offer links to other peoples sites.

As well as making our site look researched and knowledgeable, there is always the point of making money. If we can't get a sale from our own product/service, the least we can do is to recommend a product/service that our prospect will be interested in!

Here are some more websites offering links to affiliations:

http://www.adreporting.com  Small list, but pays well and varied

http://www.cj.com  Commission Junction - Can specify UK/Country specific links

http://www.clickbank.com    Daddy of them all!

http://www.clickxchange.com   Get paid per click, lead or sale.

http://www.intellectua.com  Not affiliations, but they have ebooks to suit all sites.

http://www.linkshare.com  Over 500 affiliations including Fortune 500 companies.

http://www.yourcheque.com   UK specific affiliation links.
