Re-Review of Infogoround, Niche Private Label Articles ...
Info what? Infogoround is in effect a private membership site, where you can get 'private label' articles. In case you're not sure what private label means, simply you can reprint them with your details as the author, claiming them as your own work. Infogoround has hundreds, if not now thousands of articles on a wide range of subjects and niches.
Now what's good about this is that the search engines love content. They love articles, reviews, any genuine writing. The problem is that they (and when I refer to they, I really mean Google, Yahoo and MSN), really love unique writing. But the challenge here is that are these articles really unique writing, once you get 10, 20, 50, 200 Infogoround members adding them to their sites?
A bit of research is in order then to find out some facts.
The question I need answering , is whether having duplicated content on your site going to harm you (your website!).

So, the answer is that there is no penalty, but those pages may not be indexed. If you happen to be the first person to have a new Infogoround article indexed by Google - you'll be regarded as the original author, with any other sites with those articles not listed.
Will this be the same for Yahoo and MSN? Blunt answer - I don't know, but generally, they all eventually have a similar game plan, trying to offer the best content to their readers. So, it's likely Yahoo and MSN will do the same in due course.
Does that mean Infogoround is pointless and a waste of money then?
Depends ... You get access to loads of articles, with the hardest part done - the research!
Writing is the easy bit, it's the research that takes the time and effort. You could spend 4 hours getting all the info and facts together for an article that may only take you 30 minutes to write.
Verdict: If you haven't the resources to pay for writers to create unique articles for you, grab these articles and rewrite them yourself. As well as then having these articles in your own style, you'll get more and more used (and faster) at writing yourself.
If you only re-write one article a month, that's half the price of having a decent writer product one for you.
Publish them on your website, submit them to the various article submission directories out there, and you can only help but to boost not only your website presence, but your online identity.
